ARExA has completed the first phase of its Feasibility Study for converting the old blanket mills in Troy, NH into a new, state-of-the-art ‘Food Hub’. The Troy Mills Sustainable Food center will be a facility for the production, processing and distribution of locally grown, small producer food products.
The 19 acre, 300,000 sqft site will be home to:
- A hydroponic/aquaponic farm
- A co-pack, cold-storage & distribution facility
- A research, education & training center
- As well as a community kitchen and farm-to-table restaurant
