ARE×A Completes Feasibility Study for Sustainable Food Center

ARExA has completed the first phase of its Feasibility Study for converting the old blanket mills in Troy, NH into a new, state-of-the-art ‘Food Hub’.  The Troy Mills Sustainable Food center will be a facility for the production, processing and distribution of locally grown, small producer food products.

The 19 acre, 300,000 sqft site will be home to:

  • A hydroponic/aquaponic farm
  • A co-pack, cold-storage & distribution facility
  • A research, education & training center
  • As well as a community kitchen and farm-to-table restaurant
